About The Company

Envirex Group is a locally owned company of 30 employees, that is located in Klepp, near Stavanger. The primary operation is targeting the oil and gas subsea production, but a number of products related to control systems, hydraulic machines and mechanical systems also are relevant outside the oil and gas industry. Envirex Group offer broad competence within design and development, production and Assembly, as well as operating performance, both onshore and offshore. The group consists of Envirex AS, Envirent AS, iCsys AS and Esoft AS. Revenue for the group in 2018 was around 75mnok.

Challenge

Esoft delivers an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system for small and medium-sized businesses that have engineering and production activities. Development of the system will be done from the bottom up and launch to the market is planned for Q1 2020. A separate team is dedicated to this, but need assistance both on the commercialization, the go-to-market strategy, marketing, design, commissioning and for user experience. The key word here is commercialization, software programming and design, and the case is suitable for students with different backgrounds. The development of Esoft is supported by Innovation Norway and a separate project team of 6 people working continuously with the completion and development.
